Nan, Inc. was awarded a $45.1M project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District for the design and repair of Building 703 Zamperini Dining Facility on Kwajalein Atoll. The scope of this design-build contract is to repair the current condemned area within the 26,609 sf Kwajalein Dining Facility, which supports the tenants of the U.S. Army Garrison Kwajalein Atoll. The condemned area, which has undergone severe deterioration and deemed unsafe, has been closed to the public. The repairs include the complete removal and replacement of the condemned building structure, and to provide a safe, efficient, and secure facility to support the garrison and mission. Other improvements include the renovation of the main dining area, a new HVAC system with new chillers, along with the associated utilities.
