Nan, Inc. Awarded $30.4M USACE Contract to Repair Building 1670, Schofield Barracks

Nan, Inc. has been awarded a $30.4 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District to renovate Building 1670 to house the following three primary mission functions: New Unit Supply Storage Activity (SSA) warehouse for 40th Quartermaster Company; New 150PN Company Operations Facility (COF) for 536th Maintenance Company; and Existing Medium-sized Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF). The work will be conducted in two (2) phases: Phase 1 – repair of the SSA and Phase 2 – repair of the TEMF and COF.

The existing Building 1670 at Schofield Barracks, Oahu is predominately a single-story, multi-wing, 79,752-square-foot facility that was constructed around 1989. Currently, the building is utilized as a Vehicle Maintenance Shop/General Purpose warehouse.

The scope of work on this project will include demolition, civil work, landscape work, architectural work, structural work, mechanical work, electrical work, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work. The estimated completion date for this project is April 2026.
