This project was awarded to Nan, Inc. for the design and renovation/retrofit of an existing 8,000-barrel, 336,000-gallon, above ground vertical steel fuel storage tank on the island of Roi-Nomur and bring it into modern environmental standards.
The contract work consisted of the construction of a new tank bottom, interior and exterior coatings to reduce corrosion, a flexible membrane liner system, leak detection system, cathodic protection system, striker plates, column reinforcement plates and column support, lightning protection, water draw-off system.
