Nan, Inc. is proudly in receipt of a $66.3M project award to upgrade the available electrical shore power at General Purpose Wharves Bravo 26 (B26) and Bravo 24 (B24) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. This project is being executed as a task order under NAVFAC Hawaii’s $8 Billion-capacity Unrestricted DB/DBB IDIQ MACC, supporting various projects across the State of Hawaii and Wake Island.
The project will include the installation of 11.5kV – 4160V unit substation transformers, associated equipment, foundations/pads, buildings/structures, and any corresponding site preparations and electrical/communications utilities. The scope of work at each wharf includes the installation of two (2) new 4.160V shore power mounds, a new control house which includes the electrical equipment (transformers, switchgears, etc.) and associated wiring/connections to ensure the Zumwalt vessels have redundant shore power connections from two separate dedicated primary circuits.
