At Nan, Inc., we believe giving back to the community is part of our kuleana (responsibility). To help make good on that mission, employees recently formed a Volunteering Club with the mission to help those in need.
The inaugural event took place recently. More than two dozen Nan, Inc. employees and spouses spent time on a Saturday at the Institute for Human Services (IHS) Women and Family Center in Iwilei. Together, we painted hallways on two separate floors and sorted bins of donated clothes. The work was hot and sweaty, but extremely gratifying. And there’s more Volunteering Club events in the works.
