This Job Order Contract (JOC) was designed for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at government facilities. This contract was also intended to provide a rapid response to major repair and minor construction relating, but not limited to, the civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and safety areas of Government facilities in a cost effective manner, and applies to various Army installations on the Islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii.

Under this JOC, Nan, Inc. is required to meet compressed schedules. Work varied from site to site and required extensive knowledge of the functional operation relating to the efficient use of the facility equipment, facility support systems, and building structures. Since the facilities were in full operation, Nan, Inc. was required to minimize interference with the daily operation of the using activity.

Although this contract is still in progress, Nan, Inc. has already accumulated several letters of appreciation from its customers for outstanding performance.
