Indefinite Quantity Contract for Multi-Trade Construction

The Multi-Trade construction contract was an avenue that
the Navy Public Works Center (PWC) used to award construction
projects. Scopes of work varied between Task Orders and required
the contractor to have the ability to perform multiple and
differing tasks simultaneously. Although some projects involved
new construction, the majority of the projects involved the
repair, replacement, or renovation of basic trade work (carpentry,
plumbing, electrical). Renovations or upgrades were also performed
to meet the most current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
requirements. Task Order values ranged from $5,000 to $300,000.
The following is a description of the scopes of work awarded
under the Multi-Trade contract:
- Architectural (finishes, miscellaneous interior and exterior
work)
- Mechanical (wall and ductless split system air conditioning,
plumbing, ventilation, fire protection)
- Electrical (interior and exterior low voltage electrical
distribution)
- Civil (paving, grading, landscaping)
- Structural (foundation, termite damage repair, concrete,
roofing, framing)
- Historic Preservation
- Demolition and Hazardous Material Abatement
Services for this contract were performed at all Navy installations
on the island of Oahu (i.e. Pearl Harbor, Lualualei, Camp
Smith, Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Barbers Point). Projects
also extended to Johnston Island, where Nan, Inc. was awarded
several renovation projects involving dwelling and wharf repairs.
Through the success of all task orders, Nan, Inc. was given
several letters of appreciation from its customers.
