The F-22 Upgrade Munitions Complex project is located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, the construction for the upgrade of the Munitions Complex to support the F-15 and F-22 aircraft conversion involving the construction of up to nine (9) reinforced concrete/masonry facilities consisting of up to four earth covered magazines, two hardened Munitions Operation and Inspection facilities, one non-hardened Munitions Inspection and Operation facility, one Above Ground Magazine facility, and an Administration building with a work bay for Trailer Maintenance and a bay for Inert Storage.
In sum, the project involved the construction of five (5) new facilities (totaling 24,075 sf) to makeup the munitions complex for the inspection, maintenance, and storage of missiles and other munitions: Storage Igloos, Buildings 9000 thru 9002 (6,642 sf); M&I Hard 1-Bay w/Mechanical, Building 9007 (2,817 sf); M&I Hard 1-Bay w/RR, Building 9008 (2,817 sf); Munitions Administration & Storage Building, including Administration, Inert Storage, and M&I Trailer Maintenance 9015 (10,054 sf); Multicubicle Magazine, Building 9013 (5,991 sf).
