Building 1330 is a Bachelors Enlisted Quarters located in
Pearl Harbor. The renovation of Building 1330 consisted of
the entire interior removal and construction of a new floor
plan. Structural improvements were required to support the
new floor plan. New features consisted of new bathrooms, lounges,
offices, chiller air conditioning system, fire protection
system (sprinklers & alarm), foundation/footings, structural/load
bearing walls, and kitchens.
Work scope included: site work (demolition and removal, excavation,
trenching, backfilling, removal and disposal of polychlorinated
biphenyls (PCBs), engineering control of asbestos containing
materials, removal and disposal of lead containing paint,
concrete (cast-in-place concrete), masonry (CMU structural
walls), woods and plastics (carpentry, casework, cabinetry),
thermal and moisture protection (membrane waterproofing, sealants),
doors and windows (wood doors, finish hardware), sheet metal
roofing, finishes (metal support systems, lathing, plastering,
gypsum board, ceramic tile, resilient tile flooring, carpet,
painting), specialties (toilet/bath accessories), mechanical
(fire sprinkler system, plumbing systems), electrical interior
wiring systems/lighting/fire alarm systems, CATV), and other
incidental related work.
