Design-Build, Whole Barracks Renewal Brigade Complex, Quad C, Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii

This project included all design and construction (renovation) of four 3-story historic concrete buildings to house the barracks, community activities, company operations, battalion headquarters, gymnasium, and dining facility for the soldiers at Schofield Barracks Quad C.

The work scope included the demolition of all existing building components except for the concrete shell, with the replacement of these components adhering to current building and military standards, including updated anti-terrorist and seismic requirements. This Quad was made up of historic buildings and all renovation work was required to comply with the Section 106 Historic Preservation regulations. The project also included work for exterior utilities, pavement, and related appurtenances required to support the building renovations.
