Hope Gathering Community Service Award

In order to help facilitate and promote service in the community, the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church held its 1st annual Hope Gathering on May 12, 2007. On this memorable night, all ranges of individuals and organizations, including teachers, social workers, firefighters, and veterans, were recognized for stepping forward and providing extraordinary community service.

Nan, Inc. was presented with the Corporate Community Service Award. Also presented at the event, were letters from the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives congratulating Nan, Inc. for the award and commenting its service.

With an esteemed guest list, which included Reverend Dr. Dwight E. Cook, Senator Chun Oakland, and the honorable Mayor Mufi Hanneman, the Church hosted a spectacular event that successfully delivered the message that “service is the ultimate act of human kindness.”
