Construct Base Civil Engineer (BCE) Maintenance

Client: Hawaii Air National Guard
This project involved the construction of a new Base Civil
Engineer (BCE) Maintenance Complex at Hickam AFB, Oahu, Hawaii.
The work included 17, 250 sf of new construction for a one-story
steel framed metal building of which 4,000 sf is a separate
preengineered covered metal storage shed facility. The main
structural components of this facility were structural steel
and CMU.
Work included, but was not limited to: grading, backfilling
and preparing an unimproved site for construction; construction
of a covered storage area, training room, shop areas, vehicle
parking, construction equipment parking, administrative offices,
cast-in-place concrete, concrete unit masonry, exterior insulation
and finish system, steel and wood doors, rolling service doors,
aluminum entrance doors, aluminum windows, gypsum board partitions,
ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting,
toilet partitions, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscaping,
and incidental related work. The scope of work also included
an accordion folding partition, projection screen, asphalt
concrete pavement between the BCE Building and storage shed,
industrial resinous flooring for exposed concrete floors at
shops and mobility storage, and landscaping and irrigation
systems.
