Mr.
Fooney Freestone, President
With vast experience and extensive knowledge of the construction
industry, Mr. Fooney Freestone is responsible for all aspects
of the company, overseeing Nan, Inc. as its current President.
With the company since May 1996, Mr. Freestone initially served
as Project Manager and Quality Control Manager on various
projects, before being promoted to Vice President in 2001
and President in 2004. His project experience with the company
most notably involved the high visibility, historical preservation/renovation
projects of Building 250 at Makalapa and Buildings 278 and
287 of Marine Barracks, Pearl Harbor. For his work on these
projects, Mr. Freestone received numerous letters and certificates
of appreciation and commendation.
Mr. Freestone holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Hawaii, and his previous
work experience prior to Nan, Inc. included Matsunaga Mechanical
Contractors, Inc. and Office of Technology Transfer &
Economic Development.
Mr.
Ryan Nakaima, Vice President
Mr. Ryan Nakaima is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering
and serves as the Vice President of Nan, Inc. In addition
to his assignment as VP, Mr. Nakaima assists in overseeing
the company’s significant projects involving both design
and construction. Being with the company since graduating
from the University of Hawaii in May 1996, Mr. Nakaima’s
previous duties included performing as the Program Manager
for Nan, Inc.’s indefinite-quantity contracts, while
personally managing the high visibility projects, and serving
as the Project Manager and the Quality Control Manager for
other various projects. Mr. Nakaima has received numerous
letters and certificates of praise for his work and customer
service on all of these contracts.
Mr. Sam Ho, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Sam Ho has over 20 years of experience in new commercial and government construction. At Nan, Inc. Mr. Sam Ho is responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects undertaken by the company. He is responsible for ensuring that Nan, Inc. fulfills its obligation to the client throughout the course of design, pre-construction phases. As Vice President, he ensures that the project team performs on time, within budget, and to the higher standard of quality that both Nan, Inc. and the client demand. Mr. Sam Ho holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii.
Mr. Frank Okimoto, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Frank Okimoto is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and is currently a licensed Professional Engineer. Frank started with Nan, Inc. in February 1999 as a project manager and has completed many noteworthy projects such as the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies at Ft. DeRussy, the 298th Regional Training Institute at Bellows AF, renovation of Quad F at Schofield Barracks, and the Pacific Warfighting Center at Ford Island. Frank was promoted to Vice President in July 2009 and is currently overseeing the Civil Division and several building projects.
