Order Contracting (JOC) for Facilities Maintenance, Repair
& Construction at Various Locations in Hawaii
Location: Various locations in all Navy and Marine
installations in Hawaii
Contract Value: $20 Million
Client: Department of the Navy
The scope of work under this Job Order Contract (JOC), which
was performed as a Joint Venture with JHL Construction, Inc.,
includes all labor, transportation, equipment, materials,
tools, supplies, supervision, and administration services
needed for the completion of various repairs, alterations,
construction, and demolition work to facilities of Government
agencies in the State of Hawaii. The Government issued task
orders for various types of projects using the latest edition
of the R. S. Means estimating guide to determine labor hours,
equipment, and materials.
The scope of work included utility type projects; pier/waterfront
work; building demolition; pipe lagging; road and airfield
paving; fencing; roofing; painting; pool repair/resurfacing;
and site work. Also included were sampling, testing, removal,
and disposal of lead contaminated paint, asbestos and other
hazardous materials; certified welding; plumbing; drainage;
landscaping/sprinkler systems; above/under ground utilities;
and masonry.
